Hey all it has been a really good week for us down here in Huechuraba (la pincoya). We have been working really hard to get people to go to church. We don't have any trouble finding people (11, 12,13,14, 15 every week) but they just really do not get to church and that is hard but we are working!! The highlight of this week was the PRIMARY PROGRAM which was so funny. There was this little kid who was the smallest he's like four and was supposed to say the first article of faith, and his dad is the 2nd counselor in the Ward so when it was his turn his dad picked him up by his stomach and he said half of it really good and then yelled out OW into the microphone and gave his dad A FULLY GROWN PUNCH DIRECTLY INTO HIS FACE and I about rolled over crying. I also met a kid this week that is going to MIT to present a science project that he is doing at the university of Chile, and that was wild. Elder Galarza is doing really well and we just keep going!! We might have changes this next week but I'll keep yall updated ! I love you all and I love this work and I wish I could plan better to get some better quality emails out but HEY send me requests and suggestions for how and I can do it okay guys but be gentle with my feelings.
HAVE a GREAT week babes

As a side note, Rhodric said the group he came out from the MTC with is going home this next week, and he has been given permission to go with them to the temple before they go home. President Meservy is very kind and God is good to us. He knows our hearts, I am so grateful to have a son on a mission!

Food Poisoning
Hey all well you'll probably remember that last week my companion threw up all over his bed well the next day I started to get sick and was REALLY sick Tuesday night and all day Wednesday but we survived !!! The mission's nurse is pretty sure it was food poisoning (hence the title of the email) but we luckily are back up and running !!! We are working a lot recently with some Haitian investigators that are really great, but it has been kind of a language barrier problem for my companion. One of them understands Spanish, but only really speaks french. So I listen to him in french and we teach in Spanish, but my companion gets really lost- keep him in your prayers okay? Never in my mission have I really had to actively use my french until now, but it has been a really cool experience and things are going really well with them. We also realized that one of our really great investigators is a Little crazy, so that unfortunately had been kind of rough and her family doesn't really want us to talk to her, so we are gonna see how things go with her. Besides them we are still finding tons of new people, and are still working with the ones that we've got. This week we had a Ward activity where we all did foods from our countries, (six missionaries from 4 different countries) and I made the classic Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, which everybody loved !! Then we gave talks on sunday about missionary work and consecration. I'm out of time but I want to let you guys all know that I love you and challenge you all to "leave it all on the court" like my mom says. Keep going !! God loves us !!! If you need help; ask him !!!! Have a good week yall

happy happy happy
Hey all !!! This week was a really good one for us, we are working with these goals that we set and we are getting there !!! I find that we are trying a lot harder to find people and to keep moving forward always. I love the mission !!! I really hope that I get to stay here for another couple weeks to be able to keep going with all of the people that we have been able to find here. My comp was REALLY sick yesterday and threw up all over his bed at about one in the morning, so that was way fun !!!! Then half of the zone came over this morning to eat pancackes in my house, and i was up all morning cleaning !! It made me think of being a kid and when my mom would ask me to do the dishes and if i slacked and didn't do them my mom would just do it and not say anything, and this week I understood why!!! I waited all week for my companion to do the dishes like he said he was going to and NOPE so I just did them because I was SICK OF DIRTY DISHES and I was thinking (oh man is this kid gonna get it because i am doing his housework) but then after a Little while I realized that does it even matter????? He will learn from my example that he needs to do his part, but for now all i can do is help him out !! I love you guys and hope you are all doing well, shoot me an email !!

Fuiste Jardinero?
Hey all you american people
This week was a pretty solid one, we did I think 4 service projects and ate chicken 5 out of seven days of the wee, so we are getting work done baby!!!!
And somebody came to fix our shower !! (see the video of Elder Galarza playing with the shower hose). The real highlight of this week is that we found like 13 new people to teach !!!! So we have been working our butts off and trying to make the best of our time. Man have I been tired too I think I have slept at 945 every day this week but that's life man
Also some of our investigators are doing really well, we have some families we are working with who are progressing and we are seeing a lot of sucsess with them, and we also had a family come to church which was really cool !! It's been hard starting from scratch but AY VAMOS say it with me AAAAY VAAAAAMOS
we also had zone conference which was cool, we were with four other zones and we all passed it super pig, basically all of my Friends are zone leaders and real important people so it was cool to get to chat with them again finally AND we have been working with a family of a convert with their family history and that has gone super well !! This week the daughter connected her Little family with her great grandpa's and her family tree went BOOOM huge. We also talked with her and another convert yesterday about indexing and indexed a whole page from family search with them on the TV and it was so cool they didn't want to stop !!! and me either but we've got people to see things to do and music to make namean so that's basically been it !!
On a fun note i met a less active loquillo who is named Mauricio and he let us in to his house and then SHAVED HIS ENTIRE HEAD (eyebrows and everything) because he thought he looked ugly and wanted to look good because "the elderes finally came over" and was singing WE ARE THE WORLD WE ARE THE CHILDREN and I could not stop laughing oh my good golly it was a rollercoaster of fun
We are killing it out here and having the time of our lives, please let me know if there is anything I can do for you- your emails are very appreciated.

Pegriega
Well everybody I formally apologize for not having written in a while, a couple weeks ago we ran out of time on p-day and didn't get to write and last week I ran out of time BUT here we are back again so let's get it.
Everything has been really good out here in Vespucio. We had a hard time finding some of our investigators this week but we are learning and doing contacts and growing together as a companionship. Elder Galarza has been practicing his english in language study time and I have been practicing my french, (which has not been easy) and we are feeling maybe some growing companionship pains but not really anything too bad. Elder Galarza is showing his ECUADOR patriotism a little bit less and getting used to Chile which makes me glad. Besides that we have just been finding people, some inside jokes, some really cool ward members who are working with us, lots of tired days and I have a really bad memory so I can't really say exactly what happened in this week. But, know that I'm working down here and having fun too. If there's anything I can do for any of you let me know okay?
Have a great week yall
