Hey everybody this week was really good.
The highlight of the week is that F O U R people were baptized this week, Guillermo Mora, Millaray Mora, Alma Rivera and Emilio Sara. Two of the baptisms were from our sector, the two siblings, and there was a baptism in the ward (Alma the girl who turned 8) and another baptism from Elder Wood and Elder Dray (Lampa 2!!!) It was a really special experience and great to see it happen, one of the best parts of missionary work is seeing your work get DONE ! The mission isn't just about baptisms, we have lots of things to do and if we don't BAPTIZE if we are still WORKING and doing what the LORD asks then we are still successful, but there is a great feeling when we get to see the people we teach be baptized because it helps us feel secure and know that we are really helping people make covenants with their Heavenly Father. The boy Emilio who was baptized by the other Elders wasn't a "mistake" to say it that way, but was a boy from the ward who was going to get a calling, and all of a sudden they realized that his record was lost and needed to be baptized again because he didn't have everything he needed (pictures and witnesses) to prove that he was baptized, so he needed to be baptized again. Can you imagine someone telling you that even though you were already baptized in the church of Jesus Christ and A L M O S T everything was done properly? That would hurt, but Emilio (with the help of Elder Wood and Elder Dray,) came to realize that being baptized AGAIN was a new opportunity, given to him by the Lord, to take upon himself the baptismal commitment and really understand what he was doing, to receive a renewal, a remission of his sins and start over, being "born again." It was great to see him bear his testimony, we could all tell that his baptism meant a lot to him and that he knew what he was doing. I know that we are all here for a reason, and all of the troubles and problems that we have in this time of trial and error, "probation," are all here to help us LEARN and GROW and are miraculous opportunities that we have to become better and "asemejarnos" (there's not really a good way to say that in english) to the Lord's will and example for us. I love you guys and hope that you are taking advantage of your time here, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is here to help us grow and to progress, and is available to ALL of us, even the missionaries. Take advantage of what the Lord has done for us AND take a stand fam !! KEep up the good work and KEEP TRYING, the Lord's blessings may be in the last door of the fourth floor of the apartment building, but if you knock all of the doors, you will find them!

well everybody I will admit that I really didn't have a lot of like energy or I guess I didn't feel the need to write today, man I am fetchin tired. Not because we aren't doing well, we are doing really really great honestly, but man I am just sleepy.
This week really was good, we are seeing lots of miracles, both inside of our work and in our zone, the people here really do need our help and all of the missionaries need to understand that they are the Lord's representatives in their sectors, and oh boy am I grateful for all of the missionaries that we have in Colina.
Elder McCurdy is just a fetchin weirdo
Elder Santander is a great worker and has a great way of really getting along with people
Elder Delgado is good, and cares about all of us and our sectors, our work
Elder Carrizo is a fun guy, who loves to enjoy himself and to work
Elder Wood is a great worker, and a missionary that knows his purpose here
Elder Dray is fun, and determined to become what the Lord has planned for him here in the mission.
Elder Poulson is good and kind hearted, simple in the way of being good and opening up to others
Elder Gonzalez is really funny, and loves to learn
Elder Lewis is persistent, and makes it his job to have everything work out for him and his district
Elder Insfran is a good missionary and a good worker, and is strong
Hermana Ruiz is a good worker, and very obedient
Hermana Siccha is very new and I've only seen her once in my life but from what I've heard is trying her best
Elder Landon is a good missionary and a good trainer, teaches with example
Elder Hiatt is a good kid, determined to learn and to be friends with everyone he meets
Elder Cannon is full of energy, excited and faithful, loves the Lord's work
Elder Suarez is a good worker, is learning to be constant and to not give up
Elder Chavez is the basic missionary, strong and true to what he believes.
Elder Antolini is learning every day and trying his best to have a great mission
Hermana Arteaga is the light of the zone, always full of happiness and hope for all of us
Hermana Howley has a great testimony, and is a strong tool in the Lord's hands
I love each and every one of my missionaries, and feel the need to do everything in my alcance to help them see the light and potential inside of them. There were a lot of problems in our zone this week, but the Lord is on our side and will not let us fall. I know that he is with us and is holding up all of our actions and efforts, even when we eel that we are not accomplishing what we should be. I love you guys and keep trying !!! #COLINA NO SE RINDA

heyy youuu gys
Hey all so this week was really good. We have been focusing a lot on the people we have to keep teaching, the people who really are interested and progressing, and also focusing on finding more people. Transfers was yesterday and -.----...... E Santander and I are staying together one more change yuuuhuuuu!!! He and I will be together for three changes at least, and I am blessed to have him as my compy. This week we had a couple of run ins with some crazies, people that are freaky weird that we are trying to avoid and we also got to visit a lot of little old people. We went and saw some reeeealy old less actives and sand hymns with them, and we also went to a retirement home where we do service, and it was sad because this time we went and one of the old grandpas that was way cool had passed away. It's comforting to know that as one passes on, they only pass into the next part of their journey. If death didn't exist, we would be stuck here for like ever!! and would not be able to keep moving forward with the plan that God has given us. I hope that you are all doing well and trusting in the Lord, He will guide you and help you in every aspect of your life. Sorry for the short email, check my blog for pictures.

My weekly apology this week is for not having any pictures, I really just didn't have enough time this week to take any for ya'll but I will try harder next time.
This week was really good, we are seeing miracles every day and are seeing lots of progress, lots of changes are happening with people in our sector so we will see how everything turns out. We also have changes this week, so I possibly may have changes but I hope not, it would be sad to leave Lampa right now. But I guess that means I'd have a bunch of photos for next week ! ?
Well the one thing I really remember about this week was Sunday. We had a terribly busy week (lost almost 4 whole days due to special changes, inspections, and district conference) and on Sunday we realized that we still needed to find a bunch of people to complete our goal of new people found to teach this week. There was also a branch baptism of a little guy named Tomas who always plays soccer with us on Wednesdays that we always call "Maite". So my comp and I are planning and trying to figure out whether or not we wanted to go to the baptism, because we knew that we had a lot of people left to find and that we wouldn't have time after the baptism, because we had a different appointment. We prayed about it and decided that if we could meet our goal before the baptism we would go. So in the next 45 minutes we found 5 new people to teach and we were at the baptism. That was a blessing and when we walked into the baptism and saw Tomas, the smile on his face and the hug he gave us made it clear that we had made the right decision. God gives us these little moments to make everything worth it, to help us move along. I'm glad we could see him be baptized, it was a big step in his life and something very important for him and his family, and for us his friends. Our time is PRECIOUS and IMPORTANT so DON'T waste it. Love you guys.
