Hey all we had a great week down here in the freaking Pincoya.
First of all it has been a lot a lot of work we are doing tons and tons of contacts to try and meet new people; and HIP HOP HOORAY we are finding them !! We have found some really cool families and awesome people lately; and I am going to be using their names so you guys can kind of keep track of them if you like.
First off we have NANCY who is just the bomb. com
Nancy had met with some other elders maybe a year or so ago, and she kicked them out because she has a really bad relationship with a member that is her neighbor out front, and she realized that they would visit her too and she freaked out. So we knocked her door and she walked outside and I started to talk with her, and it was funny because we started talking on an odd note; she came out and I said hey lady and we talked for like two seconds about her house and I told her "you know we're like missionaries and we knock doors ALL DAY so when we se a house that is a crazy Alice in wonderland kind of thing like this one we always knock" and started things off on a good, light note with her. We went and talked to her on her porch and she basically opened up completely with us. We have gone back with a member named Bryan from our ward and we taught her the restoration, and she is so ready to listen to us and to change her life forever. She is so great and came to church for all three hours this week !! The freaky part is that she was in sitting with the little old relief society (she made friends really quickly) and I look down the hall and LO AND BEHOLD walking down the hall here comes her less active neighbor that she has problems with, walking en route to the relief society. FREAKED ME OUT. But thank goodness nothing bad happened or anything like that, and Nancy really liked church. We have another appointment with her tonight and things are going so great. Next up we have the Bravo family, and I swear it's like they're already members of the church. They are so cool and we just met them this week. They didn't come to church, but we are going to be trying to do a family home evening type thing with them to get things rolling here.
Elder Galarza is doing really well, getting better and better and more dry (dope) every day. A lot of our other investigators are right there moving little by little but we are doing everything we can to get things moving here !! I love you guys and miss you all, we are seeing miracles out here and living life to the fullest. I know that the church is true and that God loves us. Have a great week and don't miss me too much ;) ah no just kidding I know you've all moved on because I get 3 emails per week
