We found the Bravo-Martinez family contacting in a sector where we had not worked much. They made us go and we met them, the were looking for something to join them more as a family, and they did not go to any church. They began to go to the chapel, the ALWAYS complied with their commitments to read and pray, the were very well and as the evil always puts the tail, we got a problem that we did not expect. The father of the family, who shared little with us, told the mother he did not want them to go to church anymore, he was a Catholic forever and thought that the family should not join the church. We spent a lot of time praying and waiting for Dad to change his point of view. A few weeks passed and we continued teaching, they continued to fulfill all the commitments. In the end the oldest (Francisca) decided for herself that she was going to be baptized. We were very happy but fearful at the same time, because we did not know how Dad would react. Next time, the three girls had decided to be baptized, and the father was happy. She told us that she had seen the change in the girls and that she was going to be baptized, and moreover she bought a cake for the girls to celebrate the baptism. Father attended the baptism and was very happy, and is progressing little by little. We are very encouraged to help everyone in this family join the church and see the changes it will make in their lives. This family was a miracle, and miracles await us every day. The gospel changes lives and attitudes, and it changes us too.
